ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF DEMULIH
Demulih is
located in Bangli regency about 5 kilometers to the west from the centr of the
city. Administratically Demulih is divided into 3 main areas namely Demulih,
Tanggahan Tengah and Tanggahan Talang Jiwa.
There are
several things that can be introduced about Demulih. The first things is that
most of the people here work on agriculture area. 206 ha from 463 are use as
rice fields. Based on the rule of subak which control the irigation of the rice
fields. The rice fields are divided into 3 zones which make possibility the
rice fields blossom in different times. Therefore, if you ride a long the
street in the village you’ll see that the first zone might already been yellow
which indicates it’s blossom. The second zone is in the middle of growth. And
the third zone we can see the farmers just plants theirs fields.
The next things
is that along the street, we will see there are many frangipani trees in row
that increasethe beauty of Demulih. Those trees grows naturally since the
structure of the land supports plants condition. When you visit Demulih and
choose cycling as your media, the frangipani trees will accompany you to enjoy
the beauty of Demulih.
We can also see
there are many arts and product made by the origin. For instance, there are
rings, necklaces, bracelets, which are made by
silver. Not only that, we can also directly go to someone’s house and
see product called balinese carpetmade from pandan leaves. We don’t need to
worry to enter their house because they will greet us friendly and don’t mind
to show us the process how to make it.
Since it is in
Bali, Demulih also provides spirituals tourism objects that we know as temples.
There are total 25 temple in this village spread on different areas. Each temple
has their own function. For instance there is a temple which is located beside
the rice fields, temple which focus to pray for Ganesha and so on. This village
also allows tourists to enter the temple to pray for their health and balanced
of world.
We also don’t need to worry if we are tired after go
around the village. In Demulih, we can take a rest in a cafe which special
sells luwak coffe. They are not only provide the cofee in sale, but also allows
tourist to see the process of how to make luwak cofee.
